The SUMO Miniplex is a compact, flexible and highly dynamic solution for loading workpiece carriers with small parts.

Workpiece handling is done quickly and reliably by an industrial robot. It offers the necessary flexibility for diverse workpiece variants. Workpiece-specific gripper tools ensure precision parts pick-up and placement. The workpieces are removed from a production process or a feed system and placed in the designated workpiece carriers. The operator can insert and remove the workpiece carriers in stacks. The SUMO Miniplex is the ideal automation solution for loading workpiece carriers with small parts.

Palletising and loading system with Epson SUMO Miniplex robot from EGS Automation Technology

Flexible sorting, palletising and stacking system. Individual workpieces are sorted into pallets from an upstream process. Large storage capacity for empty and full pallets in stacks outside the robot's working area. While the robot is loading the current pallet, new empty pallets can be inserted or full pallets removed at any time in automatic mode. Extremely short picking times thanks to the use of a highly dynamic Scara or 6-axis robot. Very compact design, outstanding autonomy in relation to space requirements. Ideal system for pre-loading workpiece carriers with components for processing in another SUMO loading system.
