The SUMO Multiplex is an economical and compact solution with large workpiece storage capacity for automating your handling and production process.

Workpiece handling is done with precision and reliability by an industrial robot that offers the necessary flexibility for workpieces of different sizes and geometries. Workpiece-specific gripper tools ensure precision pick-up, transfer and placement of parts. Workpieces are stored on standardised pallets. These can be prepared in pairs independently of the production process and exchanged at any time during automatic operation. While one pallet is being processed by the industrial robot, new raw part pallets can be inserted and finished part pallets removed at any time.

Flexible automation system with 12-fold palletising unit. Very high autonomy of the system thanks to a storage capacity of 12 raw part or 12 finished part pallet spaces. While the current pallet is being processed by the 6-axis robot, new raw part pallets can be inserted or finished part pallets removed at any time in automatic mode. Pallets in standard format 600x400mm (1/4 Euro pallet). The pallets can be adapted to the workpieces using plug-in pallet systems or customised, product-specific inlays. Very compact design, outstanding autonomy in relation to space requirements. The optional side shifting system allows the loading system to be easily shifted to the side, providing full accessibility for manual loading of small batches or for set-up.
